Creating Your Streaming Video

The video you would like to stream will need to exist on your computer in either an MPG or AVI format. You will need to download the Windows Media Encoder to convert the file to an ASF format. Linking To Your Streaming Video

Once your .ASF file is created and uploaded to your site, you will need to put a link on your site. Use the following formation to send people to your new video.

Example For Our Hosting Accounts
mms://216.200.66.128/youdomain.com/path_to_ASF_file/filename.asf

Notice the mms://216.200.66.128/ prefix. You must use this prefix on all links with the appropriate url, path and file name on your server for media streaming to work. If you do not have your hosting account with us then you will need to ask your hosting company what the correct link is for your streaming media.
